Contemporary (?) inscription in Hebrew on front page indicates the item belonged to the son of Rabbi Samuel Nehardea; subsequent ownership notes are in Ladino in the margin: Barukh Niego ben Abraham Alasaraki, Barukh Niego ben Isaac Niego; it was acquired by Louis Loewe in 1840 in Constantinople; acquired by Brentano's (New York) and purchased by UTS in 1947.
