An arch frames the text. It is surrounded by abundant vegetal tendrils.
The ketubah includes "tenaim," or "conditions," the engagement contract detailing the couple's union in friendship, trust and faith.
The name of the second witness, "David b. M Levi," was written in the Roman alphabet and not in Hebrew.
