Collation: Parchment, vertical scroll in 4 sheets pasted together with approximately 10 to 30 mm overlap. 2550 x 510 mm.
Layout: Each membrane ruled in a grid pattern with pricking to lay out portions of the diagram; lineages descend through the length of the scroll, with historical notes running both perpendicular and parallel to the length of the scroll.
Script: Written in a humanistic cursiva in brown ink.
Origin: Based on paleographical evidence, written in Italy, perhaps during the late 15th or early 16th centuries.
Provenance: With bookseller Mauro Zanichelli until approximately 2003, thereafter purchased by Pettini Libraria di Antonio Pettini, in Rome.
Immediate source of acquisition: Purchased from Libreria Alberto Govi, Modena, Italy, in May, 2024.
