Physical description: 21 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh (professional hand) in black ink with use of red. Thick cream paper, glossy, hardly translucid, with laid lines visible. Ḥāshiyah on the margins by several hands. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a, some in Persian, including ownership statements. The last fol. consists of the original leaf pasted on a modern leaf (fol. 253).
Inscription in red pencil, in Arabic script, on fol. 1a: "Raqm 240". Mention "252 Bl." on fol. 1a.
Origin: According to the colophon, copy completed during Ramaḍān 729 [July 1329] by Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn [---] al-Qazwīnī
Several ownership statements, some with seals, on fol. 1a. Impression of a seal after the colophon (fol. 253a). Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
