Title from preamble of text (fol. 3b, l. 10-11). The name of the author appears at the beginning of the text.
Physical description: 17 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. The text is framed within a single line in red (gold outlined in black on fol. 3b-4a). European paper with watermark. Collation notes on the margin. Charts of readings on fol. 2a. Inscriptions on fol. 178a. Majority of quinions.
Decoration: Illuminated headpiece on fol. 3b.
Collation: Paper, fol. i, 180, i ; i (free endpaper) 110 (+2 at beginning of quire) 2-1710 188 i (free endpaper) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf.
Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Qirāʼāt 27". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥ 767".
Origin: According to colophon, copied by Aḥmad ibn Muṣallī al-Imām bi-Jāmiʻ Rustam Pāshā [Rüstem Paşa Mosque, Istanbul], 1088 [1677 or 8] (fol. 177b).
Waqf statement dated 1100 H. [1688 or 9] in the name of Muṣṭafá Ibn Muḥammad for ʻAbd Allāh ibn ʻAlī al-Shāmī, and impressions of several seals on fol. 3a. The waqf statement is repeated on fol. 177b (partly erased). Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942. - Keyword:
