Physical description: 26 lines per page. Written in small to medium small naskh in black ink. Dark cream paper, glossy, with laid lines visible. Ḥāshiyah on the margin. Majority of quaternions; catchword on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in Arabic numerals. Stained with humidity.
Two spine labels. One with title in Arabic script, reading : "Tafsīr Jawāmiʻ al-jāmiʻ j 1", the other with inscription in Roman script, reading: "Y27 1" (repeated on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover).
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed during the last night (salkh) of Dhū al-Ḥijjah 743 [May 1343] (fol. 138b).
The book was given by Abū al-Ḥasan Ḥrr(?) ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī al-Ḥasanī al-Wāʻiẓ to Rūḥ al-Dīn Bāqir, 13 Jumādá al-Ūlá 961 (fol. 1a). Impression of a small square seal in red ink on fol. 1a. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942. - Keyword:
