Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Dimashq 68" (repeated in blue pencil on fol. 1a). Collation: Paper, fol. 72 ; 18 (the first fol. is a later replacement) 2-410 58 610 710 86 ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals, in the form "al-Rābiʻ'" (fol. 29a). Layout: 15 lines per page. Physical description: Written in medium small naskh in black ink, with use of red mainly for re-inking of entries. Thick soft cream paper, with laid and chain lines visible. Fol. 1 is a later replacement on European paper. Origin: Copy of text 1 completed at the end of Rajab 716 [Oct. 1316] (colophon, fol. 43a). Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
