Written in medium small naskh in black ink, with use of red (professional hand). Light cream paper, glossy, with laid lines and pulp visible. Ḥāshiyah on the margins of the beginning of the text. Occasional marginal annotations throughout. Several inscriptions, including ownership statements on fol. 1a. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Title on tail... Inscription in Arabic numerals on a hand-made label pasted on the upper cover: "425". Origin: According to the colophon, copy completed on Friday 10 Ṣafar 1087 [April 24, 1676] by Jalāl ibn Muḥammad Khān ... al-Lāhijānī (fol. 272a, partly in Persian, followed by verses). Copyist: Jalāl ibn Muḥammad Khān al-Lāhijānī. Impression of two stamps on fol. 1b (one repeated on fol. 272a). Inscription dated 1339 H. on fol. 1a.
