Ms. codex. Title from title page (fol. 5a). Physical description: 17 lines per page. Written in medium small taʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Wove paper, glossy ; frame-ruled. Table of contents of Part 2 on fol. 5b. Indexing tabs in yellow and green thread. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals (starts with "1" on fol. 6a) Origin: According to the colophon, copy completed on 13 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1096 [Feb. 17, 1685] (colophon, fol. 281b). However an inscription on fol. 5a seems to indicate that at least the title page was written by Muḥammad al-RGhJī [Muhammad from Rugudzha in Avaria, see The library of Imam Shamil, n. 21] for Imām Shamīl (first half of 19th cent.), and the copy includes texts from the 18th century.
