25 lines per page. Written in medium small square naskh in black ink, with use of red for re-inking and "ṣ" and "sh". Red dot and black circle with a dot at its center text-stops. Light cream paper, glossy, with pulp visible ; frame-ruled. Ḥāshiyah on the margins. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a, including verses of poetry and ownership statements. Collation: Paper, fol. 184 ; 1-1810 194 ; catchword on the verso of each leaf ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals in the form "al-Thānī".
Several ownership statements, one in the name of Ibrāhīm al-Naṣībī on fol. 1a; one in the name of Abū al-Ṭayyib al-Ḥusayn ibn al-Shiḥnah al-Shāfiʻī, dated Rajab 878 H. [1473] on fol. 2a, with others erased. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
