Ms. codex. Title from title page (fol. 2a in the modern foliation, first original leaf). Physical description: 27 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. Some yāʾ for alif maqṣūrah ; final yāʾ dotted. Dark cream paper, glossy, with laid and chain lines visible. Fol. i-iii are later additions, with a table of contents on fol. (ii)a-b. Title on tail of text block. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals. Chiefly quinions ; catchword on the verso of each leaf. Origin: According to colophon, copied by ʻAlī ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Muqrī, Thursday 19(?) Shawwāl 953 (fol. 73b). Patronage: Copied for al-Khizānah al-sharīfah al-muʻaẓẓamah ... of Muḥammad Ḥalabī (?), kātib of al-Mamlakah al-sharīfah al-islāmīyah (fol. 73b). Ownership statement in the name of Ṣāliḥ Efendi, dated 1141 H. Erased ownership statement and large seal (450 mm.) on fol. 2a. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
