According to the colophon, the al-Anwār al-Jalīyah was copied on Yawm al-Aḥad 9 Ṣafar 783 [May 5, 1381] in a Madrasah Niẓāmīyah (colophon, fol. 186a). The ms. appears however to be from a later date.
Two ownership statements on fol. 1a, signed ---? ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-Dāʻī, with obliterated name of place and Aḥmad Najīb ibn Aḥmad Ṭāhir, dated 21 Muḥarram [12]80 [July 1863]. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
