Marginal annotations. Two verses of poetry attributed to ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Kīlānī on fol. 1a. First leaves worm-eaten, with loss of text. Extremely fragile. Two spine labels with inscriptions, respectively "Sharḥ Mukhtaṣar Ibn Ḥājib" (in Arabic script) and "296" (in Arabic and Western numerals). Copy completed on 15(?) Jumādá al-Ākhirah 821 [July, 1418] by Muḥammad ibn al-sayyid ʻAlī ibn al-sayyid Raḍī al-Dīn al-Ḥusaynī (colophon, fol. 169a). Collated by Muḥammad ibn ʻUmar al-Ḥalabī (collation statement dated 8 Shaʻbān 824 [Aug. 8, 1421] on fol 169a, margin). Ownership statement in the name of Muḥammad ibn ʻUmar al-Ḥalabī (see collation statement) and of ʻAlī ʻĀkif, with seal on fol. 1a. Acquired from Murād Bey Bārūdī, Beirut, 1925.
