31 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh with elements of taʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Thin biscuit paper with laid lines visible. Ḥāshiyah on the margins. The first leaf consists of a later page pasted on the recto of an original folio. Water damage. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Uṣūl thānī 14". Inscription in Arabic script on a label...
Copy completed in Harāt in Jumādá al-Thānī 859 [May-June 1455] (colophon, fol. 219a).
On fol. 1a: Seal reading "Muṣtafá Shawkat(?)" ; ownership statement in the name of al-Sayyid Aḥmad Nūrī, known as Nūḥādīʹzādah(?), with seal, reading "al-Sayyid Aḥmad Nūrī" ; erased statement dated 1226(?) H. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
