Ms. codex. Title from colophon of the first Rubʻ (fol. 34b). Physical description: 23 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red ; red dots marking hemistich. The text is vocalized ; final yāʼ dotted. Soft paper, dark cream, with laid lines and a few chain lines visible ; frame-ruled. Several inscriptions on fol. 1b-2a and 121a-b, including ownership statements, prayers, and records of birth dates. Chiefly quaternions... Origin: According to colophons, copied from a copy made on a copy written by Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān al-Anṣārī, known as Khaṭīb Dāriyā, 768 H., and collated with Shams al-Dīn al-Ṭarābulusī (fol. 34b, 71a). The final colophon states that this copy was made on a copy made on a copy by Ibn al-Khayyāṭ, and that it was copied by ʻAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd Allāh ibn ʻUmar ibn Muḥammad al-Zakī...
