In upper margin of each page: Allāhumma ṣalli ʻalá sayyidinā Muḥammad wa-ahlihi [wa-ṣaḥbih].
Ms. in Maghribi script on unglazed paper. 23.2 x 18.5 cm. First ten pages have ruled border. Headings and key words in red and green; catchwords. Text of Rawḍat al-azhār is in violet ink and vocalized. Numerous marginal notations.
Paper is mass produced stock. Minor stains on some leaves. Some leaves eroded at edges. Slight worm damage at end.
Binding is leather over pasteboard. Spine and outside cover corners green, centers blue. Leather endcaps.
