All volumes erroneously foliated beginning on the front flyleaf. Record follows erroneous foliation.
Physical description: 37 lines per page; written in miniscule nastaʻliq in black on cream glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text framed in gold. Rubrication and catchwords; marginal notes. Some staining; a few tears and paper repairs.
Origin: Volume 1 dated Ṣafar 1116 H [June 1704], by Muḥammad Muḥsin ibn Muḥammad Samīʻ (leaf 243b). Volume 3 dated Ramaḍān 1118 H [December 1706], by the same scribe (leaf 254a). Volume 4 dated Shaʻbān 1125 H [August-September 1713], by the same scribe (leaf 206b).
On leaf 1a of each volume is the owner's note of ʻAlī Naqī al-Ṭabāṭabāʼī. Leaf 1a of volume 1 also has the owner's note and stamp of Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn al-ʻĀmilī. On leaf 2a of volumes 1, 3 are a number of owner's notes and stamps, including those of ʻAlī Riḍā ibn Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn ibn Muḥammad Qāsim and Muḥammad Mahdī al-Ḥasanī al-Ḥusaynī al-Ṭabāṭabāʼī (likely Baḥr al-ʻUlūm).
