Collation: Paper, fol. 204 ; 18 (-2, at beginning of quire) 2-178 186 19-258 266 ; catchword on the verso of each leaf. Origin: Copy completed on Monday 27 Ṣafar 997 [Jan. 15, 1589] in Baṭḥāʼ Makkah by Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn Ibn Muḥammad ibn Ismāʻīl Ibn Aḥmad al-Ḥanbalī al-ʻĀmilī (colophon and collation statement, fol. 202a). Several ownership statements, with impressions of stamps, on fol. 1a and 1b (partly erased).
