15 lines per page. Main text written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. The text of the glossary written in small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Although the style of writing differs, the two texts seem to be contemporary and written continuously in same ink and possibly same hand. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in Western numerals in pencil.
Ms. additions: Numerous short inscriptions on fol. 1a, one of them dated 1163 (1750). Three short inscriptions and one ownership seal on fol. 99b. Ff. 16a-17a contain a text with the heading 'Faṣṣ ḥikmah fardīyah fī kalimah Muḥammadīyah' commenting on the final chapter of Fuṣūṣ al-ḥikam.
