Physical description: 15 lines per page; written in naskh with elements of nastaʻliq in black on cream glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Extensive insect damge; paper repairs to some leaves; marginal damp staining.
Origin: 19 Dhū al-Ḥijjah of the 5th year of the reign of Aḥmad Shāh [likely Aḥmad Shāh Durrānī, whose reign began 1160 H; date would then be 19 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1165 H = 28 October 1752]; in Awrangābād [likely a village in Pakistan] by Pīr Muḥammad (leaf 120b).
