Page 3 of cover has statement: Tajallud hādhihi al-kitāb fī ʻasharat ayyām khalat min shahr Ayyār sanah 1812 masīḥīyah. Ms. in naskh script on glazed paper. 20.2 x 16 cm. Headings in red ink. Catchwords; text partially vocalized. Few marginal notes. Several lacunae. Paper is glazed and bears a watermark depicting a crown and a grape cluster (?). Paper is discolored; leaves are torn and 4-5 lines are missing at the bottom. Several leaves torn. Edges erose; minor insect damage. Binding is dark brown leather over pasteboard. Spine is torn in two places. Covers have blind stamped design: double fillet frame, two sets of fillets running from opposite corners and intersecting at center. At center is a cross composed of four rectangles containing small circles. Two concentric circles dominate the axis. Extensive water damage.
