The text is framed in red, in two columns. European paper. Fol. 1 is a later added fly-leaf with inscriptions. Foliation in Arabic numerals. According to this foliation, some leaves misplaced (see fol. 34, 36 in the Arabic foliation). Origin: According to colophon, copy completed at the end of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1067 [Jan. 1657], from an examplar dated Aleppo, 605 H. [1208 or 9] (fol. 236b). Several ownership statements, one dated 1136 H. (some obliterated), and impression of two seals on fol. 2a. Acquired by Robert Garrett from the books of Murād Bey al-Bārūdī (Beirut), 1925.
